Goa Governor Mridula Sinha inaugurated the New Delhi Municipal Council's two-day International Hindi seminar on Friday, which is being hosted to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary, in collaboration with the Vishwa Hindi Parishad at the NDMC Convention Centre. Delegations from over six countries and several universities across the country attended the inauguration. Sinha underlined the importance of Hindi and said that parents would like to teach Hindi to their childrenas it provides an added opportunity for employment and added that it should be a common family language.
